The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has approved an information note regarding data transfers under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Anu Talus, the Chair of EDPB, stated that the note clarifies the rights of individuals and the responsibilities of organizations. Additionally, the EDPB is committed to ensuring the proper implementation of this new framework and eagerly anticipates participating in its first review next year. Furthermore, the EDPB has also adopted a statement concerning the initial evaluation of the EU’s adequacy decision concerning Japan.
